Beatnik at the National Museum..
went out with Huisi and Adelene AGAIN yesterdae..its like almost every weekend we meet for movies..dinners..shopping and whatsoever..liddat also good lar..keep my weekends occupied...haha..think the next time we meeting again shd be the movie THE MUMMY which is out on the 31st..anyway..went to the Beatnik event at the National Museum last nite..the museum was "painted" with many nice colors and patterns...there were live performances also..since the theme was "hip hop" there were breakdancing performances..beat-boxing as well as DJs scratching away on their turn tables..onli thing is..we had to see the performances from afar...and reason is..CAUSE OF THE SLR CAMERA I BROUGHT...stupid reason rite..yup..tat was wad i tot when we..rather i was denied access into the performance area..(the performance area was barricaded up)..i was like "HUH" i have nvr ever heard such a reason before...i mean sure got alot of ppl bring this kinda SLR camera to take nice photos one wad...nvr mind..dun allow nvr mind..at least provide some lockers to lock up e camera or put it with the police to safe keep so we can enjoy the performances..BUT NON OF THIS WAS DONE...(as i type this my blood pressure is like rising to my head..as seen in those cartoons..) shdn't things like this be done..if i can think about providing lockers and stuff definately they can come up with it too...somemore its not like a one night thing...its been on for a few weeks..and with each week having a diff theme..not blaming the police wadsoever..they are doin their job of not allowing us in..its just the rules..but i am totally disappointed with the organizers.. feel more could have been done...there were so many ppl outside the barricade just watching the performances afar..and worst thing is..i actualli saw one person with an SLR camera snapping away inside the barricade...i was like WAD THE HELL...
reason i am like so pissed is cause this is the dunno how many donkey times i had bad experiences with like the gov and stuff..although this event is not realli by the gov..its gotta do with the public and stuff like this shd be thought of..brainstormed and decisions like this shd be made..so much for improving the service sector..

almost there..
spent this week joining some of the training sessions...also doin some of the clearance i needa do before i ORD like dental and medical..also brought bout half of my staff back frm camp...din know i had so much stuff...also spent most of the e remaining credits i have at the emart..anyway..just received an email which lifted up my spirits alittle..(not tat i am feeling down or anything)..well..its gotta do with my studies..bout a mth ago..receive a mail asking me to choose between 2 streams in my course..mainly design stream or mechanical stream..the name itself is quite explanatory lar..anyway..i chose design stream mainly cause i am more of a drawing person than a "do it" person..especially during FYP in poly..i came out with the designs for our grp so nartually it would be the choice tat i like..
somemore it came at a time where i was feeling a little sian about starting sch..cause i came to know about SIM having aeronautical engineering as one of its new courses..i took a look at the syllabus and it was wad i had planned to study in the first place...naturally i was planning to change course but i had to get approval first..which obviously failed..so i was back at square one again..having no motivation at all to study..well.at least now i have something to look forward to..
anyway...gonna do some online stuff for my uni..last few things i needa do before sch offically starts for me...

finger update..
just to update on my finger situation...when to the docs in the morning for my checkup...and good news..i dun need to go for op..the crack is still there...but there are signs tat new bone is filling up the gap..or so says the doctor..so up..finger still a little stiff and swollen but shd be fine in a few weeks time..have to go back in 3 weeks time for another xray and see if its completely healed..realli wanna thank those who have prayed for me...so no mc this time..haha..have to go back camp and do some clearing up..haven realli shifted anything back..its about time i do so too..today was quite a busy day compared to yesterday where i practically slacked throughout.. when to the docs in the morning..stretched all the way to the afternoon...then went to simei community center to get my singpass done( its for my uni studies..the CPF parents paying scheme or something liddat)..then went all the way back near church to cut my hair..gotta go back camp so dun wanna get caught with long hair..somemore gonna ORD liao..better not get into trouble...
so yup...later gonna go back camp...goin back earli again...wanna catch the 9pm channel 8 show...haha..maybe gonna visit a fren also in camp who is frm church..so yup..will update again soon...

updates on my finger..
should not be home at this moment in time but since i am..decided to update my blog for a while..well..the fact tat i am at home and not in camp at this point of time kinda gives it away..yes i am on mc again...another week of mc..second time tat the hospital has given me an mc of one week..went for my checkup today...took another x-ray before seeing the doctor..
so as u can see from the pictures above..those are my self drawn x-rays..not too bad a drawing i must say...took me sometime to find out how many bones were there in my finger...haha..ok..as u can see..two weeks ago..there was a crack on my finger..right in the center bone..was put on a splint to prevent it from moving..last week went to see the doc again for my medical appt and was told tat i could remove the splint and let it recover..then given another appt which was today..went in the morning..took x-ray and as u can see..the top portion of the crack shifted just slight to the right there..showing tat theres some movement lar.. it looks and sounds painful but to be honest i dun feel much pain..just tat my finger is a bit stiff..ok..the main point is if it shifts further right when i return next week..i may have to undergo surgery to like straighten it lar..so right now i have been given a better plastic splint..better looking than the last one..and definitely stronger lar..
dun plan to fully utilize the mc tat i have right now..no pt also..cause now doing clearance for ORD in camp..not much physical activity also..further more if i go back after one week..i may not time to finish my clearance so dun realli wanna take tat chance..also i haven been talking to my platoon this time round cause i have been away on duties and mc cause of my finger..so goin back earli to settle all the stuff i need to settle ain't so bad lar..yup..so decided to go back tml night..wanna realli get some rest after my duty yesterday...realli tiring...k then...please pray for me..hope my fracture does not shift anymore lar..

The Zoo...!!!
back for another update...uploaded some pics from the zoo outing on the 5th..realli wanted to upload more but i have over 200 plus pics worth some 700mb..how to upload all sia..i even have trouble uploading to facebook and photobucket..think i just gonna burn into a cd and give those who want them..much faster and easier tat day..u will notice i am not in most of the pics..tats cause i was the photographer for tat day..was testing out my bro's SLR camera..realli solid..the pics were taken with an ordinary lens..guess wad a special kind will do..but realli ex lar if u wanna buy the lens...
anyway..went for my medical appointment earlier this week about my fractured finger...doc said i could take off the splint and slowly let it recover..gave me one week mc for tat..but the mc doesn't realli matter much..i had to go back camp yesterday to help out enlistment cause not enough ppl..today have to go back camp later cause my recruits coming in..stay till sat then go home during the weekend..monday on duty have to be in camp..and tues is my medical appt again..so not much of a rest for me...
well.can realli use this time to do my NTU stuff..clearance for my ORD...may onli be 2 things but sure alot of stuff to do for each of them...
also my health has not been so good recently..had a bad cough yesterday..cough till my head hurt..then was doin duty on the fastcraft..had to ensure the safety of the parents and enlistees on the fastcraft...travelled back and forth for countless times and tats where i got kinda sea sick..the boat rocking and everything made me feel like puking... felt better after puking took a couple of panadol and took some rest..felt a little better after tat...well...some ppl say when u haven fall sick in a long time and u suddenly fall sick..it will be quite jialat and will last for quite some time..got a feeling this will be with me for quite some time also..plus my finger..not a good period of time for me at all...
